Websites & Web Apps

Sites that load fast and stay maintainable.

A corporate site should load in under two seconds on a phone on mobile data, be editable by a non-developer, and still be maintainable in three years. That is a lower bar than most agencies clear, and it is where we start.

What you end up with

  • Core Web Vitals in the green on mobile, verified at launch
  • WCAG 2.2 AA treated as a build requirement, not a retrofit
  • Editable by your marketing team without a developer
  • Deployment, backups and dependency updates automated

Scope

What the engagement covers.

Platforms & tooling

  • Astro
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Sanity
  • Cloudflare
  • Vercel
  1. 01

    Design and build

A design system rather than a set of one-off pages, so the site stays coherent as it grows past the pages we build.

  2. 02

    Content management

A CMS your marketing team can actually use, with structured content models rather than a single freeform rich-text field per page.

  3. 03

    Performance and accessibility

Core Web Vitals in the green and WCAG 2.2 AA as a build requirement, not a post-launch remediation project.

  4. 04

    Web applications

Customer portals, booking systems, dashboards and internal tools, with authentication and roles handled properly.

  5. 05

    Hosting and maintenance

Deployment pipeline, SSL, backups, uptime monitoring and dependency updates on a schedule.

How it runs

Four phases, agreed before we start.

  1. 01

    Assess

Output: environment map, risk list, fixed-price proposal.

  2. 02

    Plan

Output: runbook, comms templates, rollback criteria.

  3. 03

    Execute

Output: live status channel, step-by-step verification log.

  4. 04

    Support

Output: reconciliation report, documentation, handover session.

Questions

About websites & web apps.

Can we edit the site ourselves?

Yes. Structured content models mean editors change words and images without touching layout, and without the ability to accidentally break a page.

Do you work with our existing brand guidelines?

Yes. If they exist we build to them. If they do not, we produce a lightweight design specification first and get it agreed before any code is written.

What about SEO?

Technical SEO is built in: semantic markup, structured data, clean URLs, sitemaps and fast rendering. Content strategy and link building we will happily advise on or coordinate with your agency.

Talk to someone who has done websites & web apps before.

A short call to understand the environment, then discovery if it looks like a fit. You will get a written proposal either way.
