What this covers

This policy explains what happens to information you give Queue Bytes through this website. It does not cover data we process on your behalf under a client services agreement — that is governed by the data processing terms in that agreement.

What we collect

• Enquiry details. The name, email address, phone number, company and message you submit through the contact form or send to hello@queuebytes.com.
• Basic technical data. Standard server logs recording IP address, browser type and pages requested, retained for security and troubleshooting.

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking or behavioural analytics. If that changes, this policy will be updated and consent requested before any such cookie is set.

Why we hold it

Enquiry details are used to respond to you and, if we work together, to administer the engagement. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and performance of a contract once one exists. We do not add enquirers to a marketing list, and we do not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records connected to an engagement are retained for as long as required by the contract and applicable tax and professional-record rules, then deleted.

Who processes it

We use third-party providers for email, hosting and form delivery. Each is bound by its own data processing terms and processes data only on our instructions. A current list of processors is available on request.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@queuebytes.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

Security

Data is held in access-controlled systems with multi-factor authentication enforced on all staff accounts. If a breach affects your data and presents a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority within the statutory timeframe.
